Description
This is a stunning example of a fossil brittlestar (Palaeocoma milleri) collected from Robin Hoods Bay, North Yorkshire, England. These are extremely rare to find in the Yorkshire area and they are at least twice the size when compared to species collected from Dorset, England. The starfish has been well prepared to show excellent preservation and detail along with a cut base so it is freestanding and make a beautiful display piece, a collectors item ! Jurassic, Middle lias.
Specimen measures approx 27.5cm x 17.5cm x 7cm.
